Road Trip from Tulsa to Nashville to Richmond

crossing the Arkansas border...

...after the GINORMOUS ice storm that pelted Oklahoma the week prior, there were some wonderful people from the electric companies from so many wonderful states (like Louisiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina); those men and women, thousands of them, cam to Oklahoma to help us out in our time of need. They sacrificed the comfort of their own homes and time with their families during the holidays to help my state out. That's what it is all about. Anyway, we passed some crews headed back to South Carolina while we were driving through Arkansas and Dale told me to make a sign, we rolled down the window and held it out; it said "Thank you for Helping Oklahoma! Merry Christmas!!" {the batteries ran out while taking this video...}

...drivin drivin drivin...

...comin to the Virginia border... HONK HONK!! ...

...we took at quick break at a rest stop near Roanoke due to too many Red Bulls had by Dale, we took an hour and a half long nap...

...makin it close to home...

...pullin into the neighborhood...
